Under25Routes - Laboratory Workshops - Sudip Chakroborthy
The first week of the under25routes residencies always involve laboratory workshops with some of the host nations best practitioners, and Manchester / UK has been no different.
Our UK residency got under way at Liverpool Hope University on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June.
We’ll be featuring short films with each of our practitioners over the next few weeks. But we commence with Sudip Chakroborthy.
Sudip is Professor of Theatre at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His work focuses on methods for devising performance work interculturally. Sudip has worked with Peshkar over recent years and we are really pleased to see his expertise become part of the UK residency workshops.
Sudip passed his vast experience onto our Under25Routes artists in a weekend of workshops at Hope University, Liverpool. You can see more footage of the workshops here and here’s a small interview with Sudip explaining his practice, exchange and his thoughts on Under25Routes.
