While Claire is away in Brazil, both developing her own practice and making links with artists and organisations that share an ethos with Peshkar, we thought you might like to see the footage from the research trip we made in Bangladesh in preparation for our FutureDesh project.
For those of you who don’t know, FutureDesh was a project that explored the issue of the changing climate in Bangladesh and how it linked and reflected to the lives of young people both in overseas, but most notably across Greater Manchester. The trip took place in March 2010 and the footage you can see here, made by our friend and artist Tristan Brady-Jacobs, not only incorporates his wonderful aesthetic, but some of the individuals and stories that went on to inspire a range of projects including theatre pieces, installations and commissions.
